Talent Pathway Coach Appointment

Archery Northern Ireland, in partnership with Sport Northern Ireland, are pleased to announce Damien Lennon as the Talent Pathway Coach in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland Chairman, Steven Beacom said “We are delighted to welcome Damien to this pivotal full time role and to the Archery GB coaching team. The appointment of a Talent Pathway Coach will enable greater focus on the development of the Northern Irish pathway for athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic Disciplines. The board would like to thank Damien for his services so far and we look forward to seeing talented archers coming through the pathway”.

With this new partnership and pathway alignment to Archery GB, the previous Academy programme will be renamed and restructured as the Northern Ireland Performance Academy as of December 2017. The Northern Ireland Performance Academy’s objective is to have more Northern Irish athletes not only competing, but winning on the International Stage.
