Entry Fee:
One Session - £5 per Archer
Entry Fee will be invoiced by ANI and should be made direct to Archery NI Bank Account once entry has been accepted.

Rules Apply:-
- The shoot will be run under AGB rules and Archers should be familiar with timing, signals and bouncer procedures.
- Shooting will be in ends of three arrows (2 Minutes).
- Dress regulations to be strictly in accordance with School PE Kit.
- Archers must hold valid membership of Archery GB and Archery NI. Valid AGB and ANI membership cards must be presented on the day of the shoot.
-The Chair of Judges or the Tournament Organiser has the right to ask people to change their behaviour or leave the competition
- Archers who are sharing equipment must stipulate this in the entry form and to the Competition Manager so appropriate measures can be put in place.
- We welcome all school participation to the school cup, but priority entry will be given to archers Year 8 and above

Results
Results and Target assignments: All results and target assignments including schedules and information will be posted to Ianseo.
Dress Code
Footwear that fully encloses the toes and front of the foot must be worn at all times when shooting. Schools will wear the PE or School Kit for the duration of the competition.
Archers should not have any lose clothing that could catch around the string
Archers should have appropriate safety equipment such as arm guards and finger tab/ gloves
Bows
Compound Bows- Compound Bow, which may be of a shoot-through type riser, is one where the draw is mechanically varied by a system of pulleys or cams. The bow is braced for use by cables or bowstring(s) attached directly to the cams, the string nocks of the bow limbs, cables or by other means as may be applicable to the design.
No equipment may be electric or electronic The peak draw weight shall not exceed 60 lbs.
Cable guards are permitted, A riser brace or split cables are permitted, provided they do not consistently touch the athlete’s hand, wrist or bow arm.
A bowstring of any type which may include multiple serving/s to accommodate nocking points and include other attachments such as a lip mark (e.g. kisser button), a nose mark, a peep-hole, a peep- hole ‘hold-in-line’ device, D loop bowstring, string silencers, bowstring weights, and any other attachments are permitted, provided none of the attachments are electric or electronic.
The pressure point of the arrow rest, which can be adjustable, shall be placed no further back than 6cm (inside) from the throat of the handle (pivot point of the bow grip). Any number of Stabilizers are allowed, but may not touch anything but the bow.
Draw check indicators, audible, tactile and/or visual may be used provided they are not electric or electronic. The sight points may be a fibre optic and if desired illuminated by a chemical glow stick. The glow stick shall be encased so as not to disturb other athletes.
A release aid may be used provided it is not attached in any way to the bow. Any type of finger protection may be used.
Recurve Bow- Risers including a brace are permitted provided the brace does not consistently touch the athlete’s hand or wrist
The string can be made up of multi-colour strings
Bows may have sights but no magnifying devices of lens shall be fitted Bows may be fitted with stabilising devices
There should be no electronic devices on the bow
The Finger tab or glove should be free from any alterations Barebow
Bows shall be free of any sights, should a bow be used for recurve the sight block shall be removed
Bows shall be free of any stabilisers and pass through a 12.2 cm ring when braced
The bow shall be free of any markings that could aid aiming
Any weights attached to the bow must be screwed directly into the bow
Arrows
Arrows shall be marked with the archers initials or name on the shaft of the arrow The arrows an archer is using should be all the same with the same nocks and fletches Archers cannot shoot different types of arrows at once
Arrows must be no greater than 9.3mm for the shaft and 9.4mm for the point
Tiers
Tier 1 – Archers shall be shooting less than 1 year in archery
Tier 2- Archers shall be shooting between 1 and 2 years in archery Tier 3- Archers shall be shooting for more than 2 years
Archers will be placed into categories based on their time shooting this will be non-gender based.
Tiers will incorporate the bow styles. Archer’s tiers will be verified of their time shooting to ensure the correct category has been entered.
Team Event
All schools will be entered into the team event when they have entered three or more archers. Teams will be made up of three archers with the accumulative score of those three archers. Where there is compound archers included in a team, only one compound archer score will be incorporated.
Payments
Schools shall submit entries individually. The email address used on Google Form will have an invoice sent from Archery NI for a total fee to be paid. On the invoice, you will be sent the details in relation to the bank account. All payments should be made directly to the account.
Payments shall all be made in advance.
Scoring
Recurve and Barebow archers will shoot a 60cm Full Face (10-1) Compound Archers will shoot a 60cm Triple Spot (10-6)
Archers will have agents to complete their scorecards however, archers should be aware that they should call their arrow values from highest value to lowest.
Archers shall not touch the target face until the scoring process is complete Archers if they wish to query an arrow value should call a Judge on the field
Timing Control
The tournament will be controlled by the DoS (Director of Shooting) using the Chronotir timing system.
Archers will have 2 minutes to shoot 3 arrows at the target. The Chronotir will use audio and visual signals to control the shooting. Archers need to be familiar with the below signals.
Red Light◇ Archers should not shoot
Amber Light ◇30 seconds or less remaining on the time Green Light ◇ Archers are free to shoot
2 Blasts ◇ Archers have 10 seconds to come to the line, they can load their arrow into the bow but cannot raise their bow arm to shoot
1 Blast ◇ Archers can begin shooting
3 Blasts ◇ Archers are to collect their arrows
5 Blasts ◇ Emergency Stop, archers should stop shooting immediately
Results
Results from the tournament will be posted to ianseo.net. Target assignments will also be posted to ianseo. Should any archer wish to query a result this must be made to the Results Manager and the Tournament Organiser.
Code of Conduct
Archery GB strive to have a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at all levels of competition, and for everyone to leave having enjoyed their day’s competition. We welcome encouragement and cheering in support of competing athletes, in a good sporting manner.

Examples of poor sporting manner; the purposeful wrong calling of arrows or shouting loudly when an opponent is at full draw.
If you feel anyone is behaving in an inappropriate manner, inform either the Chair of Judges or the Tournament Organiser. (They will make themselves known at assembly) or alternatively email competitions@archerygb.org. Both the Chair of Judges and the Tournament Organiser have the right to ask people to change their behaviour or leave the venue.

If it is established that the Archery GB Code of Conduct has been breached Archery GB has the right to investigate and take disciplinary action as in line with the Archery GB Disciplinary Policy, Regulations and Procedure
